So the family just took a trip back to Sewanee, TN. All in all, it was a good trip. I'm really glad I got to go back up. It was a trip long over due for me at least. We drove up in the van...all 6 of us. It actually wasn't as bad as it sounds lol. I guess were're lucky we get along enough to be able to do that.
My dad ran a week long youth thingy out at the Assembly so we were able to stay in one of the cottege/house things on the grounds there. It was really nice. My favorite part I think was the side porch. It was nice just to walk around there again and look at all the old cotteges and venture off on some of the wooded trails too.
I got to go out and eat with Monroe, Brannan, Derek, Naomi, Rebecca, and Va too. Lots of people seemed to be away or working for the summer, but I still got to see a fair amount of people whether it was a planned outting or just running into people in town.
ryan ate a green hot pepper at the resturante in GA on the way up....krista paid him $5, it was pretty funny. he got kind of teary eyed.

brannan and me a little more than 1/4 of the way on our hike (at the top of Morgan Steep)
brannan gulping down his water at Proctor's Hall
brannan and me acting sad/annoyed cause we were stuck in the woods huddleing under a tree in the rain....but it actually cooled us off a lot and added some adventure...haha

a topographic map of Sewanee. the purple is where brannan and i hiked down to (starting and ending and the Cross) and the green dot is the area where i lived in Sewanee.
what a 4 mile hike in the rain can do to you....it may not look like soo much but it was a little bigger than my thumb nail in size.
as usual, brannan found the most interesting food to eat......

Now that I'm back in FL I can look forward to unpacking from the trip, packing a little bit for the weekend, and packing things up for school! My two favorite things in life, packing and unpacking haha. Luckily I didn't unpack too much when I came home from school so I've mostly just been relocating things to a pile in the livingroom. That way I can kind of take inventory and makes it easy to just load up as much as I can on the 10th when I can start moving in.
