Back
So, we're all back from MN now, as of 2 nights ago really. My bro and sis were a bit more ancious to come home than I was. They both had a gf and bf they were excited to be home and see too, though a lot of the time that's how it goes anyways. I'm kind of the traveler of the bunch. Plus, there is just something about MN that I really like, and there is soooo much family history there too. We spent the last two nights in New Ulm with Janice and Lenny. There we also got to see Jamie and his soon to be wife Nicole, so she has now meet the whole family. It was a nice way to end the trip. Janice always feeds us amazing food. Her and Grandma Rena are pretty much where all my mom's recipies came from. All is going well in the Kurth family and Jermey (down in Orlando) seems to be holding up well also.
I will say it was an interesting trip back home. We had a connecting flight in Atlanta and BOTH of our flights ended up being delayed for mechanical reasons! That ended up being a good thing or else we would have missed out second plane and probablt been seperated from our luggage. The first one we were boarded on and than they took us off so the mechanics could fix xomthing with the landing gear. The second time, we got there after they already boarded and deboarded all the passengers this time to fix a crack in the windshield. It was kind of funny, I've been on COUNTLESS amounts of plains and never have I been deboarded for mechanical errors and it happend on both planes....crazyness I tell you. But we ended up making it to Tampa safe and sound. And in the Airport by the bus/taxi pick up area all of the sudden a police car speed through with it's lights and sirens howeling and parked so to block the traffic from leaving. I didn't see any one that looked suspicious or flee but next thing I knew a a cop/security guard (not sure which) was running from the other side and the cop from the car darted out and they started running as though they were chasing someone. It was an on foot persuit. They ended up in the nearby men's room but we have no idea what it was all about.....so we headed to our car and got dinner at a drive through cause it was all that was open at 11:30 and we were home by 12.
Now, it's back to life as usual which I guess is the good and the bad. lol. I'm already ready for another vacation haha. But soon enough I'll be in TN.
