update
I keep telling myself that I'll be better about updating in here....and of course that still hasn't happened yet. Everytime i think to do it I figure oh, I'll do it when I'm on later tonight, and then it's too late and i just feel tired lol. But here's one now.
I went up to Jacksonville like 3 weeks ago was it? something like that. To go see a sneak peek of the Da Vinci code with Pete, excuse me, Patrick and some of his friends you're probably better off reading about the sum up of that trip in his journal though.
Since then, Alison came to visit, which was awesome. We spent the day at the beach and found stuff to do around here as well. It was a good visit. Also, Krista has graduated from hs (still hard to believe) so we had a few guests over for that and then I've also mostly kept busy with work.
This weekend has turned out to be pretty crazy too. All mostly within the past few hours. I'm going to a wedding on Saturday and then babysitting for one of the families afterwards, my parents were suppose to be going too but the are unexpectidly leaving town. They are heading to Bermingham. This morning our friend Larry DePalma died. They believe it was possibly from a severe heart attack, but the cause is still unknown. He was 47 and a good friend of my parents from seminary. His wife is my mom's best friend. They were down in Florida (up in the pan handle) and today was their last day of vacation. Rebecca (his wife) found him dead on the floor after coming back from getting coffee. My mom is flying up to be with her and the 3 kids tomorrow early early in the morning and then my dad is leaving sometime in the next few days for the funeral as well to help out. It's all very surreal though. He was still realitively young. I could not even imaginge going though what their family is right now. Blanton is is going to be a senior in highscool, Katherine is going into 6th grade, and Elizibeth is 4, the age my mom was when her mother died. All I can do it to keep them in my prayers and hope for safe travels for my parents. Hopefully they will be back by Wednesday cuase that is when we are suppose to leave for Minnesota. We might be metting them up there though.....we shall see.
