Who is mx0.net ?

I have received an email claiming to be from my isp, about a funky new security product they offer which can be downloaded free. It all sounds good, except that the images and link point to mx0.net - which sounds very suspicous to me.

So I did a little googling, and could find almost nothing about the domain, which I found even more suspicious. Then I came across a 2 year-old blog entry from someone who had similarly received emails from their gas supplier, which linked to mx0.net.

I'm not sure I understood the comments in that. Was the Russian site from an "mx0.net" email, or just a semi-related spoof email? Hard to know.

So, does anybody know who mx0.net are? I'll be contacting my isp to find out, and giving them a slapping for sending out spurious emails and encouraging poor internet securtiy if it really is from them. (I'm in a somewhat bad mood anyway, so I'll rather enjoy it. Woe be the customer service personnel!)

internet, spoof, mx0.net, ranty
