[Archer isn't interested in the holidays. He never has been, he never will be. But there is one positive note in light of all this nauseating festive cheer - a little "tradition" Archer will now strongly buy into. And quite literally "buy," who knew mistletoe was so expensive

[Giovanni opened the door not long after Archer hid away. He hadn't noticed the mistletoe yet, and he wasn't standing under any. He looked around, wondering absently if Archer was here. Nope, didn't look like it.]

[Having forgotten something in the apartment since Volgin returned home, Raikov managed to bump into Gio on his way over]

Is he around?

[He turned to Raikov, shaking his head.]

No, he seems to be out. Should be safe.

He's lucky.

[Raikov stepped inside and made his way to Archer's room]

[Giovanni just shook his head, chuckling. He couldn't tell if he dreaded or looked forward to when the Russian and his ex-employee met. He would popcorn.gif through the whole thing.

As he waited, he leaned against a wall, and tossed a Pokeball in the air absently. The Pokemon wasn't used to him or this place yet. Not surprising, as Giovanni hadn't asked how Archer had come into possession of her. He figured he was much better off not knowing.

And unknowingly to him, he was under a sprig of the plant Corbat had planted not logn before.]

[He rummaged through Archer's room, trying to find a shirt he had left there from his stay. And being the brat that he was, Raikov didn't care if he tossed aside Archer's things or made the room messy.

Once the shirt was found, he returned to Gio's side... and happened to notice the plant about the man's head. Raikov smiled innocently and slid closer]

So... Vanya...

[Giovanni stopped tossing the ball into the air, and turned his attention to Raikov]

Hm? Found it already?

Mmhmm...

[A lot more closer now. Possibly invading his personal space]

There's also... something above you.

That's good.

[Oh. well. Hi there Raikov. He just gives you an incredulous look until you say that, then looks up and sees the plant]

...Where did that come from???

Not sure but...

[He contemplates a normal kiss but... Giovanni would more than likely sock him for it, so he leans in for his cheek]

[There was probably a point where he should have intervened earlier. Still, Archer made no movement when this strange man (Raikov, was it?) went through his things (how dare he!) and messed everything up. Archer probably wouldn't have intervened at all until the man left if it weren't for the fact that they were right under the mistletoe. And that man was leaning in to kiss the boss...!]

[So Archer does the natural thing - he leaps out of the closet to stop such a horrid act... by shoving Raikov.]

[...In retrospect, probably not the smartest idea.]

[Not at all, Archer. Raikov, who WAS going to just kiss him on the cheek, ended up pushing Giovanni against the wall with the momentum of the shove, which also lead to their lips meeting.]

Raikov takes about 3 seconds before he acts as if he's realized what's happened. Since the opportunity was given to him, might as well enjoy a small kiss...]

[Then Raikov pushed himself away from Giovanni, looking quite angry as he turned to Archer]

What's the big idea?!

And then when Raikov pulled back, he barely recognized that Archer was right there. But it registered.

Excuse him he's just going to be overwhelmed for a minute while you two fight.]
