crappy sketches ahoy! I've been putting off doing this for the simple fact that scanning things is a real chore ;-; so these are only from my most recently started sketchbook, a gigantic red harback TOME of a book. Which I have discovered is soing to be a pain for scanning. Derp. *crosses fingers that LJ doesn't screw her cut* Look! Cute! You want to see it!
So. Let's beginning! I'm trying to find designs that would be saleable, because money - I have none (I always comlain about it somewhere, right?I apologize for that, BTW, I am a whiner)
OH lordy, ame-comi robin of fail. I ended up just using her for inking practice! I haven't really done much but quick doodles the past year-and-a-half, so I'm just getting the feel for full, detailed works again.
Having fun with some male Sphinx designs.
Jill of the Jungle was one of my favourite games when I was little. Playing with the design ideas a bit, as if it were a DS remake. Also please ignore her feet, which I skillfully covered up. I used to be able to draw good feet.hands, but am so painfully out of practice!
Oh look, more sphinxes!
A pensive and VERY young looking Lara Croft, based vaguely on the newest incarnation.
Yet another design for selling. Final piece would be on beige cardstock, with a lilac lilly, lilly pad and Japanese symbol for "peace"
LASTLY. I've been trying out a new twist on my crosshatch shading- opinions? I need to practice to make it look a little less "flat", but I'm rather fond of it.
