"This could be legendary!" Dr. Nanba waved his arms wildly. "Whoever gets all seven pieces will have the power to revolutionize the world!"
That phrase sounded vaguely familiar to Kosaburou, but he couldn't recall where he'd heard it. "What does that mean, exactly?"
"Team Rocket could be wiped out! We could all be killed!" Nanba pulled on his mustache, his eyes widening. "Sources tell us they don't seem to have discovered this piece. We need you two to go get it before they catch on and get it first! They could completely destroy the world with this."
"Not that that's not important to stop, but why us?" He stared pointedly at Yamato's bulging abdomen. "Yamato is in no shape to do this in her condition..."
"I feel fine!" Yamato poked him in the ribs. "I have more energy today than I've had in a long time. I'll be fine on this mission."
"The Boss himself specifically requested that you two go retrieve this piece." Nanba seemed calmer now. "He indicated that you might not have jobs if you refused."
Kosaburou sighed. "We'll do it, then. But I expect Nanako to be well looked after."
"Of course." Nanba pulled up the mission information on his massive computer screen. "I think of her as something of a great niece or some other obscure relative. Pay attention now, because the Boss wants you sent out tonight and I'll only say this stuff once."
