Adult content and long post warning....

He nipped at her neck, and she moaned and threw her legs around his back, pulling him closer. "More!" She dug her heels into his lower back. He obliged, smiling as he bit her neck. She squirmed underneath him, grinding her hips against him. "Bite me again, Vicious."

"Always happy to oblige a lady." Vicious bit her neck again, trying to leave the marks in inconspicuous spots so the old prick wouldn't notice. Domino's response to his touch made him wonder why on earth he hadn't already stolen her away from the scumbag and started his own team.

"I can't get back late tonight." She breathed into his ear. "No shower this time."

"What do you want me to do? Pull out like usual?" He pushed into her, still biting. "That might be messy. And hard to explain."

"No," She scratched his back with her just-long-enough nails in response to a particularly hard bite, and he shivered from the endorphines it released. "Just come inside me and I'll take care of it."

"If you say so." He bit a little harder, and just as he'd hoped she gasped his name and convulsed against him, tightening around him inside of her and digging her nails into his back. With a manly groan, he thrust inside of her a final time and released the pressure that had been building up while he was away from her.

"That was even better than I remembered it," She rolled out from under him and put her arms around him from behind. "You still owe me dinner, though."

"What if I promised you lots of dinners?" He reached over his shoulder and grabbed her nose, giving it a firm tug.

"What do you mean?"

He rolled over so he could see her face. "You already know I'm planning on leaving the team. I've decided to bump the date up a little."

"To when?"

"Within two weeks."

"Are you out of your mind?!" Domino sat bolt upright in the bed. "You can't leave in two weeks!"

"Sure I can. Why, are you going to tattle on me?"

"No, but it takes a long time to set something like this up."

"What do you know about it?" He flicked her forehead. "I'm the expert here."

She rolled her eyes at him. "Alright then, Mr. Expert. What does that have to do with dinners?"

"You're coming with me." That wasn't exactly what he had meant to say, but close enough. "I'm not going to let you stay here."

"And what if I don't want to come with you?" She demanded. "You're not in control of me. You can't make me do anything."

"No, but you'd be stupid to stay. Old baldie back at the base--"

"You don't even know him!" Domino hit his chest, hard. "He's taken good care of me since my parents died. I probably wouldn't be alive without him!"

"You probably would be, and so would your parents!" This wasn't going well. "You need to come with me. I can keep you safe."

"I can keep myself safe." She wiped herself off with one last tissue and threw it at him. "Stop trying to control me!"

"Whoa, how come it's controlling if I tell you to do someting, but it's not controlling for him to brainwash you and rape you and make you do his bidding? Girl logic, huh?"

"Bastard. I don't need this." She pulled her clothes back on, glaring at him. "Call me when you're ready to not be a jerk, if that's even a possibility for you."

With that, she stormed out of his apartment, leaving him alone with the unmade bed.

Domino was still fuming when the taxi finally arrived back at the base. She paid him in cash as always and dawdled up the stairs. Vicious might be a jerk at times, but her stomach had been tightening into knots lately whenever she had to be with Him in person.

She knocked sharply on his office door and waited for him to give the word before entering. She forced her expression into a too-cheerful smile and stepped in. "Hi, sorry I'm late getting home," She strode across the burgundy carpet confidently. At least, she hoped she looked confident. "I had such a bummer of a day! No leads on the disappearing money. How was your day?"

"Hm, same as usual." He motioned for her, and she forced herself to sit on his lap. He pulled down the collar of her uniform. "Oh, my, what's this?"

"What is what?" Domino asked innocently.

"These little marks on your neck. Where did they come from?" His voice was dangerously quiet, with a playful edge to it that disconcerted her. His tone reminded her of a Persian about to pounce on a cornered Ratatta.

"I think I'm allergic to my laundry detergent." Domino scratched her neck. "I started using a new brand..."

He wasn't buying it at all. He grabbed her by the face and forced her to make eye contact with him, catching her upper arm with his other hand. "Tell me who you're seeing, Domino."

"No one!" He tightened his grip on her arm until she was gasping from the pain. "I promise you, Sir, there's no one but you!"

"Lying little whore." He smiled condescendingly at her. "It's written all over your face. I read your mind the second you walked in here. I'll give you another chance. Who gave you those marks?"

"No one, Sir," Domino struggled, trying to get her arm out of his grasp. She tried to remind herself that he couldn't really read her mind, but her heart was racing. "You trained me better than that! Do you think I could actually defy you like that?"

"You've been different lately." He pushed her off his lap, and she collapsed on the plush carpet. Before she could react, he was on top of her, tearing her uniform off of her. "Who is he, Domino?"

"No one." Domino felt sick to her stomach. She should have stayed in bed.

"If it's no one, then would you care to explain why you've been tainted since I last touched you? Please don't try to blame it on the laundry detergent." He touched the offending substance, showed it to her as proof, then wiped it on her cheek in distaste. "Well?"

She didn't answer, and he slapped her clean cheek so hard little black spots formed in front of her eyes. "Don't remember?" He raised an eyebrow. "I didn't realize you were that popular. I supposed there's only one logical way to deal with your crimes."

He held her down by her throat, ignoring her labored breathing and frantic clawing at his hands. She didn't even try to protest him forcing himself on her; she had long since adjusted to that. She diverted her entire energy to breathing, to getting his hand off of her neck.

Just as she was starting to black out, he released her. She had almost been welcoming the escape from reality, and it was a disappointment to land back in the middle of it on his floor.

"You must have enjoyed that." He straightened his clothes and took his usual seat in the swivelling chair. "" "Get out of my sight." She looked at him blankly, too busy sucking in oxygen greedily to fully understand. "Go to your apartment. Don't try to leave the base."

"May I have my clothes, Sir?" She panted, sitting up.

He ignored her. "Get out!"

Domino scrambled away from him and somehow made it back to her room without collapsing or running into anyone. Once she was safely in her room, she locked the door and curled into a ball on her long-neglected bed and wandered into the grassy meadow where her mother had lived since her body died.

She hadn't returned here completely for years, but it was just the same as she had left it. Her mother was standing by the gate to the house they had never owned until Domino had been orphaned.

"Why didn't you go with him?" She chided her, plucking a daisy from the meadow and weaving it into Domino's hair. "He cares for you a lot."

"I have obligations here," Domino argued weakly. "I have to stay loyal to Him..."

"But He hurts you."

"I know." Domino smiled sadly as her mother wrapped her arms around her shoulders. The breeze blew her long white sundress against her ankles, and she stared up at the puffy blue clouds sailing on the sea of blue sky. "Mother..." She kissed the precious hands that had cared for her when she was little. "Mother, I'm beginning to think I made a horrible mistake. I'm so stupid..."

"Shh." A slender finger fell over her lips. "It's lunch time. There's enough darkness outside this place. This is the Escape. Don't bring darkness in if you don't have to, Kidlet."

Domino let her mother lead her inside, shoving the pain and regret back to her earth body. She would deal with it when she had more strength... or when something jerked her back to the dark reality where she had left her body temporarily.
