89. Trick

Many thanks to BlackJack for helping me figure out where to take this prompt! I rather like where it went.

Domino smiled to herself as she lay in bed next to the young businessman who was dozing beside her. She could tell from his even breathing that he was sound asleep, so she carefully slipped out of the bed and tiptoed to the pile of clothes he had instantly lost when she suggested they shower together. "Excellent." She whispered. He had simply dropped his Rolex on top of the pile. She rifled through his pockets and found his wallet.

He was a rich young brat, not unlike Domino herself. Except, of course, that Domino wasn't quite rich yet. She had a modest hotel room, a suitcase full of her favorite clothes and shoes, and a makeup bag to her name. And, of course, the small collection of goods she had managed to steal from her "clients". Such as the tidy stack of twenties in this fool's bill fold.

It was a plan so simple it actually worked, every night. She went to the nice restaurants, ordered a drink, and waited for the bait to sit down near her. With her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun and a seductive evening dress, she looked like a spoiled heiress in distress. She would wait until the young doctor or banker would finish his first drink, then sigh and lament that she was too broke to buy another drink to drown her sorrows with.

They would buy her a drink and ask why she was depressed, and she would assume a slight sniffle and talk about her recently departed "daddy" and how the inheritance hadn't been quite enough and now she was one night away from sleeping in the gutter.

"Unless," She would always ask, batting her eyes hopefully at the red-blooded young professionals, "There's some way I can make a little money before tomorrow. I don't really have any talents, but I'm so desperate for money I'd do anything if someone could help me out!" And then she'd sniffle again, and the "noble" bastard would take her to a hotel for the night.

And as soon as he was asleep, she would sneak off with his cash and whatever else of value he left lying around.

Of course He had frozen the credit card he had given her the day he had left, but that didn't matter anymore. She was doing just fine for herself outside Team Rocket, and she was starting to wonder why she hadn't left sooner. She was much better at this whole prostitution business than she had imagined.

Domino gave a whole new meaning to the term "turning tricks", and she was proud of that fact.
