For
flagellantket. Sorry I couldn't make it Beautyshipping--Prima isn't even mentioned. But it has Rocket Sabrina, which is what matters.
She knew, deep in her heart, that it would happen. Although she lacked the powers of premonition as would be properly defined as a psychic ability, Sabrina had felt that the agent was bad news.
So when she was called upon to trap him, she knew what he had done. And the thought sent shivers down her back.
What she knew was solid, but what she didn't know was what she had to push to the back of her mind. Any concern she had for Giovanni's condition was ignored as she pursued the rogue agent.
While other agents had trouble with tracking him down, Sabrina was able to find him nearly immediately. He had taken cover in the fighting gym next door--did they know that the new brawler they had taken in was a fugitive? Or were they simply stupid?
In a fury she burst in, scattering fighters everywhere. "I'm here for him," she said simply, pointing at the man. He had spent his career with his face covered, and seemed to believe that he could disguise himself with a pair of cheap sunglasses.
He ran for the fire exit at the back of the building, but with a quick Teleport, she was waiting for him. Hovering a few inches off the ground, she nodded her head and the door swung shut behind him. "Sabrina..." he said finally, spitting it like a curse. "I should have known they'd send you if I came to Saffron."
"I think you know how this is going to end, Marauder," she told him as she extended an arm. "But you're lucky. I've been instructed not to kill you."
She could tell from the look on his face that he knew he was trapped, but he tried to run for it anyway. He made it about halfway down the side of the building before her eyes glowed red. Crying out in shock was the last sound he made before collapsing, his form shrinking and losing definition until finally a small figure was all that remained.
With a scoff, she floated over to pick up the doll. She'd have to wipe the memories of the people in the gym, but that could wait until later. First she had to report to base, and--she hoped--hear from Giovanni.
If only she could shake her further premonitions.
