So I voted.
I dont' know why I took my cue from movies and imagined long rows of private voting boxes. With cotton curtains trailing almost to the ground and a dark, tense area with intimidating poll-guards. Maybe throw in some complicated machine to vote on that had me go through some maze to mark "no" or "yes" and that was my picture.
So voting left something to be desired.
What I got was half a dozen lean-to tables with cardboard protection shields and a woman older than my grandma named "Madge" who gave me a black pen to mark my ballot. They didn't even ask for ID.
Oh well, at least I got a sticker.
And from what I've read so far, a lot of the things that I voted for passed and Senor Jerry Brown won Attorney General... which is just fine with me.
I also got the Wisdom teeth out this morning and so far so good.
It was really bizarre, the whole falling asleep part.
I remember them putting the thing in my hand, which doesn't hurt now Tina, and looking up at the ceiling. Which started to melt and I had a vague impression that that wasn't normal then I woke up. And everyone was saying it was over and it went really fast and bla bla bla.
... Wow.
The only thought in my head was, "I could've been seriously violated and I would never ever know about it." with a little bit of "tastes like blood..." in there too.
So now I'm at home. Not swollen yet and I'm not really in any pain. I've got a bottle of Vicodin and I know how to use it.
ALSO, my dad got my ticket. And I got a jury summons, all in the same day. Suck.
He was mad, of course but on a scale of 1-10, 10 being what I was anticipating he only let out like a 5. Which is, if you know him, amazing for my Dad. But he did take away the Acura in exchange for THE YELLOW CAR! Haha, I am now the proud owner of a bright yellow hatchback named "Mojo Jojo", or Mr. Mo if you're nasty. It's a cute car with a lot of pizzazz and I enjoy it. It also doesn't go NEARLY as fast or as smooth of a ride as the Acura, so I'm able to cut back on the speeding.
Best part you ask?
I DON'T HAVE TO EVER BUY PREMIUM GAS AGAIN! WoooooooHooooo!
