I wasn't going to blog until I made a new header but after a few failed attempts at making one I liked, I decided to give in and write anyway. I hate me. I know.
I am uber disappointed right now. Let me tell you. You know I love Simple Plan and I love their new song "When I'm Gone" but I really loved the other new song they played on their New Year's concert "Your Love Is a Lie". It's fucking amazing live... but then oh but then... then they put a clip of the album version of the song on their Myspace and it makes me so mad. The begining of the song songs amazing, perfect, but then when it gets to the chorus, the background lines that David sang when they did it live, sounds like Pierre dubbed over himself. It doesn't sound natural. It sounds really synthesized and fake. And that was upsetting enough but then I clicked to listen to the other new clip they had up, "The End" and omg I thought I was going to cry. The whole begining part of the clip is some trip hop synthetic Britney Spears-esque shit until the chorus and its like that + Green Day. Not a good combo. I was so sad. Like I am majorly let down and I hope when the album comes out it is a lot better or I will seriously cry hardcore. Now I'm more looking forward to Ashlee Simpson's new album. I don't know which fact is sadder.
I plan on writing a big post about American Idol including stuff about the people I've been impressed by so far but I'm not going to post it until I get a new header made so if anyone has any good header tutorial links, please send them my way. I'm desperate.
