holidays have begun.
just spent 3 nights in a cabin somewhere between margaret river and augusta with my wonderful girlfriend.
hiked about 20km of the cape to cape trail on monday, followed that with a fantastic dinner at 'ze arc of the iris'. a team of just 2 chefs plating up brilliant food to a booked out restaurant. really got into that. inspiring elements and flavours i can still taste.
a bit of the old wine on tuesday after sitting in bed watching the trees and the occasional rain, getting around to the first chapter of 'the dharma bums'. barbeques here and there with the medium rare cooking ive been learned :)
then checked out giants cave on the way home today. a short-breathed but sweet interlude.
so it was 4 days away that flew by and punished my wallet but have calmed me right down. ill give it a couple of days and start practising my pastry exam.
