First Post In Exactly 4 Months

This is something I felt like deserved a post. Even though the few people who still read this will skip it.

I don't have a lot of extracurricular things in my life. I did play basketball, golf, soccer, and other random things in high school, and I still play golf some today, but since I started college I've been playing DDR/ITG and Dance Games in general. Dance games don't really have a pinnacle of accomplishment such as a Daytona 500, National Championship, Super Bowl, World Series, or Masters mind you, but a lot of players set goals for themselves.

On Sunday February 27th, 2011, I reached 2 of my goals. I had been spending over a month trying to AAA one particular song for my 500th AAA. A song, that has only been AAA'd by one other person in the world (as far as we know, not counting the cheaters) and he lives just about 60 miles away haha. I annoyed my wife to no end playing this over and over, but the culmination of all that hard work came to be...finally, on attempt #140. (those attempts include times I just hit the event mode buttons, and that was quite a bit too.)

AAA#500 Don't Try To Stop It

If you haven't played this song, then you probably don't understand how annoying it actually is. I blame the fact that I was using Solo machine pads for part of my attempt number being so high, but the main reason was due to myself being out of shape.

Anyway, to me, this was my Championship if you will. I still have progress I can, and hopefully will make, but with limited to no access to newer mixes, it will be hard to accomplish much more. Granted this is trivial in the grand scheme of things, but it was something that I wanted, and needed to accomplish for myself.

If you actually read all of this, I'm kind of shocked, but thanks nonetheless.
