The first snow flurries of the season just fell, and in my favorite fashion - in the middle of the night, when everything is quiet and still. I stood out in the driveway and watched the flakes fall, and disappear as they hit the ground. For there being so few of them that actually fell, they were perfect - big, fluffy flakes, like pieces of cotton, sticking to my hair and eyelashes as I looked up at the sky as they fell. Then, as quickly as they started, they tapered off and now all that remains is a brisk wind, blowing fallen leaves down the street. I love this time of year!
Rock on!
