heres my vote
i really really really think we need to not go balls out insane on new years. thanksgiving was crazy, festivus was rediculous, and now there is new years and then ohayocon in the same week. i know ohayo will be crazy, and i dont think i can recover from a heavy drinking new years extravaganza in time. i say we just chill in the burbs or wherever, watch some movies, have a very limited amount of alcohol and some champagne for midnight. nothing insane, no costumes, no vomiting or passing out. just a good night. somthing that everyone except lauren and i has been unable to accomplish.
im not saying midevil times wouldnt be fun, casue it would be increddibly fun. but im sure i speak for others besides me when i say this whole OMFGROKK!!1! thing is getting old. although festivus was a hell of alot of fun, it was DANGEROUS. i feel ashamed for leaving miles in the condition he was in, outside of making someone find him some ibuprofen before i left. seeing my friends passed out, possibly having alcohol poisoning is not my idea of a good time. someone is going to get hurt and i dont want to have a part in that.
everything needs to be bumped down a few notches from time to time.
