Such weather! I have been taken to reading and spending my time in a retiring manner more from lack of anything to do than true scholarly interest, sadly but to be forced by the elements....it is most unsettling. A knight never likes to be trapped.
And yet....there is something unnatural about this. After all, ice usually does not form in rivers up to one's knees.
