too busy for that shite
These past few weeks have been so incredibly busy for me that I've been stumbling along each day in a half-sleep daze. I got school, I got work, and I got my internship. School gives the usual stresses. Work hours have dramatically increased due to the upcoming holiday season. And to top everything off, I got this wonderful internship at a high school. I actually am enjoying that last one. It really kicks ass. But it's almost over. Boo.
The kids sum it up nicely, "Mr. V., We are SO screwed the next four years." I figured whoever won was gonna have a crappy presidency anyway, but now the Repubs have the opportunity to look even worse. But seriously, the thought of the Christian-Right increasing their power genuinely scares me, especially since throughout my studies I see how religion has fucked everyone over. Anyways, does Jesus really want me to have a gun so I can shoot homos? This country seems to think so...
