I've always loved the 50's-60's girl bands. But the Pipettes are somehow...better.

I think it's funny that until now, I didn't even have an album of theirs. Just a handful of songs I'd downloaded from here and there.

Now I do! Because of you! And I sincerely thank YOU for that! :)

I remember that! How did you hear about them? Shortly after that I started reading about them on Pitchfork and some other music websites, but never knew of their existence before you told me about them. :-)

I've always loved the girl groups, too. I'm listening to the Rhino box set - it's glorious!

I honestly can't remember how I heard about the Pipettes. I'll have to think on it. MySpace, perhaps? Not sure.
