(no subject)
So it's 3:30 on Sunday afternoon and I have three homework assignments due on Monday and Tuesday. Can we guess how many I've completed? So that's what I should be doing. Or should already have done. Instead I'm gonna go on a bit about how things are with me. First and foremost, I've finally finished repairing the Acura. It's ALIVE, ALIVE I say, bwahahahaha! Anyway, this was my first major car repair, and while there are still a few kinks to work out, I think that overall I did a good enough job that it'll stay running. so. i completed that on friday, and aurora was sick, but she wanted to see it turn on when i finally got everything back together, so i brought her to my house. after about half an hour of final prep, i turned the key...and...it turned over without a second thought! amazing. after patting myself on the back for a few, i showered and went to samrat with Rory, Mark, and Raj. Good food, good times, and I gave Mark my tool belt. I knew he wanted one, and I never used mine, and I wanted to make some real gesture of friendship, considering what an asshole I was to him a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, so after that, Rory and I went back to her place, and I sort of took care of her for the night and on Saturday. She had a white blood cell count of 20, which is around where it would be if she had appendicitis! It's nice to be able to take care of someone when they need it. And Thagard SHC gets mad props for providing the service they did. No more smack-talking about them I guess. Sort of a shame really, I always did like to share that anecdote about how they diagnosed me as being pregnant freshman year. :) Ok. Time to quit rambling and do some math.
