Straight up: I am a canadian high school teacher-in-training working and living in communities with deep racial tensions (first nations/white). I am looking at challenges such as integrating culture into my curriculum beyond tokenism- which begins with debunking white (anglo saxon protestant) as the standard 'culture' of my province.

I am an arts and humanities teacher so these are huge issues.
