oh what a world this life would be
i went and saw the tide tonight - it was the first time i experienced a whole set from them. those guys are definitely very passionate. the guitar player on the left didn't seem so happy but for the most part they were very into it and they played very beautiful music.
i think i'm going into one of those contemplative modes where i critically examine all of my relationships and my position in life and where i've come from and where i'm going... yada yada yada. i probably won't say any more about that.
i got some new music today and a couple christmas presents for my family. we're doing this thing where we donate like some goats to african families a la over the rhine, so the rule is nobody can give anything to anybody else that costs over twenty dollars, to detract from the commercialism of the holiday. i'm all for it. but i kind of wanted an ipod too. but life is more than hundred dollar bills and roto-tom fills.
