Just for the record, I pretty much suck at Weight Watchers. I lose more often than I gain, but my losses are usually not very big. Like today, I lost .8, and that's on the higher end of what I tend to lose. Sometimes I lose a pound or 1.something, but I tend to go in partial pounds. .2, .4, .6. I guess it's because I really don't try very hard at all, hehe.
I have spent a good deal of today trying to get Daughtry tickets to upload to myspace. I only have a handful of pics left to go, but they're having some trouble uploading, so we'll see what happens. I'd like to put a few on my facebook, as well, but at the rate things are going, that might have to happen a different day. I also have picked a new layout for the myspace, so it will have a new look, too. I'll put it up once the pics are all up. Yeehaw!
Mom's birthday party is in a few weeks. Emily is doing the cake still. I need to call the restaurant and make sure our reservation is still good to go, and I need to re-order balloons since I cancelled them last time because we cancelled the party due to weather. Sadly, I think I will have to pay for them again, because they had me pre-pay for them and when I called they didn't say anything about a refund. Of course, I didn't ask, either, but I will when I go this weekend and order more. I'm sure I'll end up paying twice. They only cost 7-something, so I'm not too worried about it.
It's officially the Month of the Young Child. At work, this week is Celebrate Children week. We're doing a bubble launch and ice cream sundaes for them this week. Next week is Celebrate Parents, so we're doing a parent breakfast and making coins for them to carry in their pockets. The third week is Celebrate Community, so each of our classrooms takes either the school office staff, the library staff, the kitchen staff, or the maintenance staff. We're doing the kitchen staff so we're making them a big poster and giving them a candy basket and flowers. And then the 4th week is Celebrate Staff, so whatever happens that week is up to the parents.
I am in love with Cinder Road, one of the bands that opened for Daughtry, I can't remember if I've mentioned that since the concert. They are so awesome and good and cool!!! You guys should check them out, has anyone heard of them before?
I think that's all I've got for now.
