Is it a mullet? I can't quite tell, but sources are leading me to believe so. Rob calls this the "wet-she-mullet". Now Shirley... I've supported your hair adventures, I have. I even supported the blonde-androgenous-annie-lennox look. I mean, I like Annie Lennox, how could I not? As my understand goes, with the new album, Bleed Like Me, Garbage is going back to their more "rock" sound after the misguided pop attempts on BeautifulGarbage. So... Shirley, is this your messed up rock star/Courtney Love look? Is it? Because otherwise I just don't understand.
I have faith in you, Shirley, I do. I believe that your new look will work out eventually. They always do. But in the meantime, could you do us all a favour and give the gel a rest? I'm fairly confident that it's not healthy to have one's hair trapped under so much product. Could you? Please? For me?
Anyway, Bleed Like Me is out April 11 and the new single "Why Do You Love Me?" is out on the radio as we speak. I am yet to hear it, so when I do, I'll write again about Garbage in a manner that's more substantial than this.
