The King is dead...long live the King.
His music really can't be considered "classic rock." Yet Michael Jackson collaborated with a number of rock legends--including Paul McCartney, Freddie Mercury and Slash--while becoming a legend in his own right. I've been thinking since his death was announced this afternoon, and I feel he should be remembered and honored in our community for his contributions to songs like "Say, Say, Say" and "There Must Be More to Life Than This."
