yearly update.
Hello LJ! I've had nothing good to say for so long, even than nothing entertaining. I've been on tumblr, just barely. Other than that just trying to stay off the internet. Read comics, play video games, not computer. Tho this past few weeks have been rough. Finally got that January cold snap. Something that hit me bad. Just like when we got back from Toronto. It was 12 there and, like -3 in Winnipeg. Not much of a difference, but enough to throw my body out of wack. I haven't been able to bare the cold like I used to. I'm becoming too soft and lazy. A bloo bloo bloo.
Anyways, my new years resolution was to do yoga MIMIUM 5 days a week. I've been good at doing just so that(ish).
I skipped out on 3 days, yet I'm back to making it up. The problem is a lack of food. I need to eat more if I'm to burn it off. We need to go shopping BAD. Once there's food in the house I have no excuse to not exercise. Not to mention the weather is being kind again! I'll prolly go out for a walk than back to bumming about.
On boxing day I picked up 3 of my first Tintin comics in english. I've wanted to for years, but finding them in english was pretty hard- specially before the movie.
I just need 4 more books to complete my collection~ Sadly, two of which are (understandably) the first two, In the land of the soviets and the one everyone is hellbent on erasing, Tintin in the Congo. Which really... I understand, but it was 1932! I'd say the most unethical thing in that comic is not so much the racism but the animal cruelty...
What else? Last weekend Jared wanted to go down my mom's basement. There's a lot of cool things buried down there. He brought up the super NES, gamecube and some games. Our NES was sold without permission years ago. What with wiiware and PSN its hard to get a physical one again. The super NES tho we'll pick up the cords we need to play it. Along with better games. But its just so haaaaard.
I guess this is enough? Til next time. Maybe in the spring, when the snow is all gone~
