Hey all, not too much new going on. We did get a schedule change though and now I work the graveyard shift. Downside: it's cold, actually COLD, and I get a headache after wearing my night vision goggles for more than 6 hrs. Upside: Once my body adjusts I will be able to call and post more often (and when the lines die down when a regiment goes home) since I'm awake when most of you are, I get daylight hours to work out, run, and simply do things I couldn't usually, and I can go to all the meals served if I so desire.
Definately missing everyone, not to play favorites but especially Kayla (is it really playing favorites though if it's your wife?) Constantly dreaming about being with her and of our future plans. Also thinking of ways to continue to surprise her and sweep her off her feet. Got some good ideas for when we get moved out to 29. I love you Kayla!
Ready to go home and more so to be out of the Corps. I'm proud to serve and feel I'm fulfilling my duty and giving back to the nation and my family, I just wish it weren't so difficult to do so. There's so much BS one has to put up with to be in the Armed Forces and ESPECIALLY to be a Marine! I had to laugh the other day when someone was trying to convince me to stay in, HELL NO! I'll continue serving yes, but as a civilian being a cop.
Hope all is well back home. I know how stressed Kayla is, my Aunt Linda is sick which also hard for her husband Earl, and everyone has other problems. I pray every day for eveeryone back home and think of you all all the time. I also pray for my sisters pregnancy to go well, I know she'll be a great mom!
Well, times up he says so love you all!
