Right, I'd better get my boots on. I need to head down to the hospital shortly as I've an appointment for a pacemaker check at 2.15pm. I'll be glad to get that over with, but the sun's miraculously made an appearance in Edinburgh today and I'd rather have spent the afternoon wandering around town with my shades on!

I had it implanted towards the end of August, so that was maybe ten or eleven weeks ago. But I had to wait from January, when I was finally diagnosed with heart failure (I'd had no idea what was wrong; I was just really ill), until August for the operation. I know I'm no more important than anybody else and everybody has to wait their turn, but that seemed a hellish long time to wait.

That is a long time to wait, I have 2 uncles that had ones put in and they went in and they said they needed one and the next day they got them xoxo

Well, it's a different system here. We don't have to pay a penny for medical treatment, but everybody has to wait their turn for treatment, and it can be a long wait. I think it's a much fairer system, but really I should have had the pacemaker implanted immediately like your uncles did.

That is Cool. I think my uncles pay like 55 bucks a check for Medical Insurance and both had no co-pay for pacemakers, while not free every other week paying 55 bucks is not bad. I hope you are doing goo and tests went well xoxo

Yeah, both of the music posts I did today were displaying on the home page at one point. It definitely boosts the number of views and comments when that happens.
