I can't really think of a present-day thing, but when I was a lot younger I absolutely loved
Viz comic and would totally laugh my head off at the amateurishness and childish offensiveness of it. I remember coming over to Edinburgh sometime around 1985 and buying an early issue of Viz in Virgin Records in Princes Street, and literally greetin' wi' laughter at it all the way home on the train to Burntisland. This particular cartoon always stuck in my mind; it may have been from that very issue:

It's a long time since I've possessed a televisual apparatus, but back in the day I also used to love Monty Python, The Kenny Everett Video Show and The Young Ones. They all seem pretty dated forty or fifty years later, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any TV comedy nowadays that are as clever and challenging as those shows were. And I should also mention Absolutely. If I need a guaranteed laugh, I can always resort to Frank Hovis:
