A digital museum-piece

I bought this compact digital camera - a Canon PowerShot A570 IS - along with a similar but slightly newer model by the same manufacturer, for £15 for the pair from the Bethany shop at Haddington Place, Edinburgh, on 1st March. It uses two AA batteries and the contacts for those required some slight adjustment before it would power up. I've now got it working, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Being the old model that it is (introduced in 2007), I don't expect the image-quality to be very spectacular, but cameras of this type are no longer made, and I thought it would be useful to have some back-ups at the ready for when the one I'm presently using eventually expires.

My newly-reactivated Canon PowerShot A570 IS compact camera with its lens extended on 2nd March, 2022.
