You're very welcome! And if you want more Dean/Cas recs, I highly recommend tracy-loo-who's recs list, which is even longer than mine! There's some overlap between our recs, but she's way more into whump, H/C and hellfic than I am, so if that's your thing...

Soooorrryyyy, no can do. Author gets to keep their anonymity for as long as they want it. Pretty sure they're gonna claim when the story's all done, though, at which point I will put the name in here - so hang in there!

I know this is a long shot but... Is there any news on this?

I will say that gossip around the water cooler had the author as probably architeuthis. But I certainly don't know that for certain.

I created a profile so that I could post here and follow this. I'm not really sure what else to do to advance this topic...

...Yeah, it was him; I pm'ed him at the time, going LOL THAT'S YOU, RIGHT?? and he confirmed it. He specifically *didn't* ban me from telling anyone, but I wasn't going to let the cat out of the bag because at that time it looked like he was going to finish posting and then claim it when complete. At this point, it doesn't look like he's ever coming back, so... damn shame. One of my three favourite writers in this fandom, and I miss him. 😥
