We have some catching up to do.....

Well, hello.

So I haven't updated too much, just the occasional 'bugger', so I shall do a proper update I think.

Last week

Wednesday: Went to Lauren's house and we went shopping in Bedford. Was a good laugh! Got the new Kooks album which is fantastic! I have to say, i was a bit warey of them at first, thought they were just the backlash of the Arctic Monkeys, but, after listening to the album, i have to say that is not the case at all! They are a world of their own, and in typical brighton band style, far more ragee than i anticipated. I had heard quite a lot of it via the internet, but my favourite songs now include:
Eddie's Gun
Ooh La
You Don't Love Me
She Moves In Her Own Way
Seaside
Naive
Matchbox
Time Awaits
See The World

The album is packed ful of memorable and relevant lyrics, which one day I shall inevitably be posting non-stop one day.

Anyway, lozenger and I had lots of fun, i hunted down for her many new icons, and then we ate strawberries dipped in melted chocolate whilst watching Breakfast At Tiffanys. :D

Thursday: We were very good and did Textiles revision. This soon turned into watching MTV2 and talking to people on MSN, oh, and reading Grazia, but it was good fun non the less.

Saturday: Went up to the sunny land of Manchester, home to such bands as The Smiths, Oasis and Ian Brown (OK, he's a man, not a band, but go with it!)
It was indeed freezing as ever, but it was fun :) went shopping in Manchester, went to Afflecks Palace which has become very scene, so instead i went to the brand spanking new Topshop which, by my standards at the time, was HUGE! There were two floors, and their accessories part alone was twice the size of Bedford's entire store! You know, at the time it seemed massive, but now after Wednesday, it doesn't seem that amazing lol!

Sunday: the morning was lovely, sat and watched tele with my brother because mum, dad and my brother's girlfriend (well, partner really) had gone to Asda. We watched the music channels. Took the piss out of Enya, Fall Out Boy (haha!) and talked about how fake the Arctic Monkeys have become. I also showed him a Libertines video, he had never really seen one!

(btw - I'm only talking about days wheer stuff actually happened lol! I do realise that friday does exist!)

This week

Wednesday: OH WHAT FUN! Went to london and met up with those fabulous Essex folk! Most people I knew/recognised which was good. We went around Camden for a while, I got two necklaces and ran away from two stall sales men. Then, we train hopped it up to oxford Street (squee) it is wonderful there! Had to laugh though, as we were near Soho, me and neaky decided to start singing 'The Boy Looked At Johnny' becuase of the line about Soho. As any Libs fan would know, this song is not exactly quiet, and I think we were getting some very odd looks from the posh people of Oxford street lol!

It was like that bit in The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy goes "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto" but instead it was "I don't think we're in Camden any  more neaky" lol!

And then, it happened. I WENT TO THE GIANT TOPSHOP ON OXFORD STREET. My spiritual home, my Mecca, myslef represented in four/three (I lost count) giant floors of topshop fashion goodness! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it was bliss.

Of course I brought something! i used my £20 voucher and brought the cutest red polka dot basket type bag thing. I also got a green polka dot purse, which i'm not too sure about, so i think I'll return it at my mini topshop in MK. But still, London topshop was immense, it urelu loved it, and will be spending most of my summer there. The woman also gave me a giant topshop paper bag cause they had ran out of ordinary sized ones. I didn't mind at all. It is now hanging on my wall :D

Then, we made our way back to Regents Park, and just generally hung out. It was nice. hanging out in parks feels like a bit of a novelity to me. There aren't that many great parks near me, and even if there were, who would I hang out with there? i have to drive for half an hour to Ampthill or Maulden to ahng out with you guys in a Park. So I enjoyed the simplicity of it all.

I will upload photos soon. but you have to understand that i am still swamped with art coursework, and as much as I love you all, my art GCSE which i have worked for for a year and a half is going to have to take a bit of prioriety. :) love love.

So yes, that's about it really. There's not much else to say, easter this weekend, that's about it really! I thought the first week went quick, where the hell has this week gone?! :S

Hmmm, reading this back to myslef I think seem quite philisophical-sounding here, not my usual self I suppose, I have a lot of thought buzzing around right now.

"The world can be a very big place, so be yourself don't feel out of place."

"I'll be your friend, not to pretend"

- Ooh La, The Kooks

Lust etc.
