Harry and the Potters
Caterina Winery
Spokane, Washington
I went to the
Harry and the Potters concert at the Caterina Winery last night. Just like
I promised I would and
wrote about in my Daily Evergreen article. It is no lie that the concert was at that particular winery because it says so on the picture itself. There was much nerdy book lovin' and rockin' and a saxophone too. It was kind of lonely going by myself. However, it was worth it. I don't recommend solo concert experiences.
These guys must have so much fun performing. Everybody in the audience was having just as much fun watching them perform. It's a win-win situation. I'm totally not a rocker. I'm the kind of person to just watch and critique their vocal talent because
I'm a square like that. I don't jump around and all that jazz.
Obviously he likes to though. I love getting pictures of mid-jumps like that. In the second picture, I was so wowed by how he keeps his hands steady and strong on that keyboard as he bounced up and down. I was impressed. That was Harry Potter; year 4, by the way.
As I said earlier, there was saxophone lovin' as well. It pretty much rocked the rest of the concert except for the song,
Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock. Their live performance of this song is 10x better than the recording. I love the faces on saxophone player's faces as they play. They look so....purple. I never felt that much stress on my body as a singer. No wonder band kids were so weird. *waits for the negative reaction on that one* For those who might happen to want a widescreen photo of Harry and the Potters, of course, I took one.
For those of you who are interested, I'm going to their concert AGAIN at the Seattle Public Library on Friday. If you're wanting to go with me (please say you will!), just comment and say so. Nobody loves a solo adventure. I'm in the westside from Wednesday till Sunday. It should be grand.
