Advent is here!
My favourite season of the year is here! Yay! Love the Christmas season. There are pretty lights and decorations everywhere, shopping centres play nice, soothing music, the Advent church hymns are beautiful. Everything feels so magical. Feels like it's my special season. Couldn't have asked for a better season to be born in.
I've always loved this time of the year. Exams are over. Everyone is relaxed and happy. There is a thrilling sense of excitement and anticipation as everyone is gearing up for Christmas Day, looking forward to the start of the New Year and hoping for better days ahead. The upside of being poor and broke is that I can actually enjoy my Christmas season unlike the last couple of years when I was so bogged down by work and OTs and projects that I totally could not feel the hope, peace, joy and love of Christmas. :D
