Really brief status update
- I'm getting almost no sleep at the moment, so am feeling pretty dead most of the time.
- Trying to keep plodding on with ALHOC (the book-of-the-thesis) though. Want to get lots out of the way before SWOC (the book-of-the-conference) proofs arrive and I have to proof-read them.
- Also must find time to get on with writing conference paper and book review before September happens.
- And must remember to look for a review copy of this book to poach when it's published. I know I should try to wean myself off reviews, but you know when you get a free book in exchange for writing down what you think of the book? Well, it's kind of irresistible!
- Fandom-wise, The Walking Dead is what's keeping me going at the moment.
- The heat is killing me!
- I've got to a point where I've realised that in order to start getting in replies to comments on History blog posts, I need to feel that it's OK not to reply to comments on earlier posts. Is that OK with people? I feel bad, but it's the thinking I have to go back and reply to stuff that's stopping me replying to new ones.
[- NB zombie in icon has considerably more energy than I do right now...]
