Just a very very quick post to say that Neil Oliver's new series (something with History and Britain in the title, and possibly Ancient, I forget), which started last night on BBC2, is completely awesome. He was dealing with 500,000 BC - 6,000 BC last night, and it's not at all my period, and indeed it was part anthropology and part archaeology, but I *loved* it. His enthusiasm is so very infectious - he'll be allowed to handle some remains and be completely overawed by them. So sweet. And very informative too, for the complete amateur like me. I'm looking forward to next week.

Also, it's the final of the Antiques Road Trip today, but PLEASE don't give me any spoilers because I won't watch it until at least tomorrow. *excitement*
