30 Days of Spooks Meme - Day 4
Day 4: Favourite female character
Hmm, let me see... No, this is easy :) Ros all the way!
Why do I love Ros? Well, she's competent, confident, uncompromising, sarcastic, funny, beautiful, and is often seen in a leather jacket - and yet underneath all that she's a character with plenty of complexity and several flaws. She has a wonderful mix of being able to think and act under pressure, but nevertheless giving it her all when death is looming, often with a sort of frantic air of panic that really makes you warm to someone who is otherwise often very cold. Her behaviour in season 6 sometimes confuses me, but it does add to the depth of her character, and coming so close to happiness with Adam is pretty heartbreaking. I think that over seasons 5-8 she develops in a very convincing way, from her early attitude problems and moral dilemmas right through to her role as a rather perfect team leader who commands the team's loyalty and is loyal to them in return.
