A hay-shaped needle of death in a haystack
I rewatched Dr Who 5x04 and 5x05 (The Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone) at the weekend. They're very good, aren't they? And they're even better on a second watching, I found. Matt Smith is growing on me more and more. This will shock people... but he's so good that I'm actually quite glad that David Tennant's gone. David Tennant was great, and I don't mean to say that he wasn't, but... well, the changes they've made feel fresh and exciting to me, and Matt Smith is so brilliant in the role that I wouldn't have wanted to miss this opportunity for a new, exciting Doctor. I only wish this series hadn't gone by so fast. Much rewatching called for, I think.
