Best t.v show cast
Rome: Of course, yet again there were several candidates for this. But I thought I'd go for Rome because it had a large cast who were almost all perfect in their roles - and these are historical and generally well documented roles, so not so easy to fill! I thought pretty much everyone is it was wonderful, but the very best were Ciaran Hinds as Caesar and Max Pirkis as young Octavian - both absolutely outstanding. The only weak point in the cast, for me, was David Bamber as an especially ineffectual Cicero. Otherwise, terrific all round.
