Murder, murder, murder!
Part 1:
You must have heard by now that John Nettles is leaving Midsomer Murders :O Who do you think should replace him? And have you got any nice ideas for the storyline when he leaves?
My ideal new lead in Midsomer Murders would, of course, be Troy, who could return from Newcastle promoted to DCI :) To be fair, it's not like Daniel Casey has had much work since MM (he's been in Doctors twice, which rather proves the point!), and all MM fans surely remember him as their favourite sergeant, so why not?

Part 2: For random interest, here is list of actors who have played Sherlock Holmes.
What a shame I haven't seen the Stewart Granger Hound of the Baskervilles TV movie - I bet he was wonderful in it!

Part 3: Much fans will be pleased to know that Sam Troughton is going to be playing Brutus in an RSC production of Julius Caesar in Stratford. Yay!
Though I really don't see him as the traitor type - but he's a fantastic actor, so obviously he will be brilliant. But I have to admit that I now find it difficult to imagine anyone other than Tobias Menzies as Brutus
