Primeval and Life on Mars

This week's Primeval (last in the series) was good and left me with lots of questions. My Mum and I talked for ages about exactly what had happened and why Claudia had ceased to exist. I'm glad there'll be a new series (and it seems they always planned one from the ending!), because it's nice to watch - but God knows how long it'll take them what with all the second-rate special effects...

This week's Life on Mars was very good, as always. I *loved* the Camberwick Green bit at the beginng (James recorded it for me, so eventually there'll be screencaps and maybe even and icon...). And the story was great, the format was different (observed flashback), it felt like it was getting somewhere with the major storyline (why is he there?!), and it looked as if Sam and Annie might actually go on a date (!!).

I'm a bit curious about how they're going to tie up the story of what Sam is doing there. There seem to be very strong indications that he's in a coma, and therefore presumably imagining everything, but I'll be disappointed if that's the explanation...
