Random me, film, music, television

I can now reveal I have a high temperature, which is not good :/

In marginally more interesting news, I watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom last night, having not seen it for many years. It's a good romp. I love Short Round. I love the action. I hate the bugs. I love Club Obi Wan :) And the best quote is still 'Nice try, Lao Che!' (which I still say to people).

---

There was some TOTP2 after that, which was good - I much prefer old music to modern stuff. In particular, I was struck with reminiscence on seeing Stay by Shakespeare's Sister. I was only nine when I decided that was an amazing song, and last night I was struck by the power of it again. If anyone has (or happens to be in a position to acquire) an mp3 (or whatever) they could email me, I would be eternally grateful (particularly as I'd love to set a video to it - not that I'm joining the ranks of the YouTube people...).

Then I watched afterlife (it has a small 'a', I'm not sure why). I'm not sure if I like this series or not, and have only watched sporadically. I like that they indulge in spooky stuff and aim to scare. I like the idea. I like Lesley Sharp mostly, but object to the way she strings out sentences. I like Andrew Lincoln but object to him being moany. Last night's was moderately scary, which is good. And there was pathos too, which of course I like.

Tonight, watch out for the new episode of Cracker. I may watch but haven't made my mind up.
