Meh, me, filmography, televisionography and the weekend

Haven't been well this weekend, hence my non-presence at the Foreyule Feast (I was with you in spirit). Saturday was spent trying to recover in bed for a bit, then reading, then a couple of hours on the computer. Sunday morning, I had breakfast in bed and read the papers, then fell asleep until about 2 (dammit!), then had to get up speedily and worked on the computer for five and a half solid hours, which was followed by roast chicken. This morning has been spent on German, and the rest of the afternoon will involve fixing my bibliography and working on my seminar.

Anyway, I happened to notice some things this weekend. Firstly, Fergie has booted Roy Keane from United. I'm so very tempted to give up on the team altogether. Also, there's been a sort of George Best death watch thing going on - he's still critical, apparently. If he does die, it's not that I'll be terribly emotional, but I will be a bit sad because he's one of the greatest footballers who ever lived.

Also...

I spotted a really good error in Rome. No, really. At the party in episode 3, Octavia recites a bit of poetry, and it's from the Aeneid! Talk about anachronism. *Aeneid love*

I watched one of the best films ever made ever. That is the wonderful Scaramouche. *Scaramouche love* It's an amazing film in which the wonderful and gorgeous Stewart Granger plays a guy who gets slightly mixed up in the French Revolution and has a major vendetta against a guy who turns out to be his brother. I love Stewart Granger so much - one of the bext actors of all time, IMO.

I saw the Children in Need Doctor Who thing. It was awful. I cried.

I missed edith_the_hutt a lot.
