Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Feb 01, 2007 09:53

As soon as I'm done with this post I will pass out due to the vastness of my excitement. JK has given us a release date. July 21, 2007. That's right, I've already pre-ordered. Thank you very much amazon.com

I was thinking about it this morning and all sorts of things are coming to an end all of the sudden. Gilmore Girls is in it's final season, Rory is graduating college at the same time as me... it's crazy. Then there is my actual graduation from SPU. Ima have a degree. That's right, a degree. How and when I'll use it, who even knows, but that is why I picked communication after all... it's always important to know how to talk to people, SPU has helped me refine that skill. AND Harry Potter is coming to an end. (Notice the progression of significance)

While this is all sad and causing deep waves of anxiety to wash over me, there are also quite a few exciting adventures coming up.

The Office has been renewed for at least one more season, and quite possibly a fifth. Not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand I am extremely happy to know that Michael, Dwight, Jim and Pam to keep me company for the next couple of years, and on the other hand I wish Jim and Pam would stop fighting it and just freaking get together. All this drama. Sweeps are coming up and NBC is giving us some goooooood stuff!

Also on the horizon, a couple trips. I'm going on a road trip with my Grandma. That's right. My Grandma. We're going to hit the road somewhere around March 20th and we aren't coming back... until we get bored and then we'll come back. Actually, Grammy's giving me a ride to Aunt Keen's... it's sort of a roundabout trip. Our ultimate destination is Minnesota, via the Grand Canyon. It makes perfect sense. Don't worry about it. I've been talking to Aunt Keen and Uncle Mark online a lot and I cannot WAIT to stay with them! They're pretty much the coolest. I think if people were going to bother themselves being jealous of me, it should be for my family... not that anyone should waste time being envious, but if you're going too anyway then let me just tell you what for. My family has all the stereotypes, and I love them all.

After that, internship. BAM! Living at home with my parents after college. Just what my Dad always wanted. It will be a good time to say good-bye I think. Wasted last summer a bit, being all worried all the time. Not this year. There is no reason to spaz when you're in God's hands. Sounds cheesy. I don't care.

After that who even knows? Not me. There is a pretty dang good chance Lori and I will be roommates again, which I am EXTREMELY excited about because lets face it... could there be a better roommate? No. Last night I'm all, hey Lori, pop my back. And she's all, ok. Then she just squatted on me and gave me a hug. I laughed. Nick would pass out if he knew Lori popped my back. Carl, don't tell.

I have to get ready for class now. I don't have to be there until 11:00!!! Yay.
