Hi there

I'm glad you liked the HBP reflections (and hopefully HBP itself). I really, really didn't like OotP and didn't expect to like another HP book again, so it was a pleasant surprise for me.

The icons... the two guys in my default icon are Richey Edwards and James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers, one of my favourite bands. Very recommended. One article I read a while back called them 'four overeducated homoerotic Welsh situationists', which was a wonderful description. The picture's an old one and the band has changed a little since then but I still love them.

The Doctor/Jack icons are from the new series of the British sci-fi TV series Doctor Who, which has just finished its new run. It's been the best new thing on British TV for years, and Captain Jack was a special friend the Doctor met on his travels through space and time. *g* If you like sci-fi or genre TV, I couldn't recommend it highly enough. If it's not on in your country, I'm sure it's downloadable from somewhere. It's definitely worth seeking out. Hope you enjoy it!

The reflections were great, and I really, really liked the book itself. The only semi-complaint I have (besides everyone being rather dense about Snape, of course) was that the romances all seemed to come together all at the same time and so neatly. And it would have been bonus if Harry had gone with Luna instead of Ginny. The book was incredible, and it reminded me of Rowling's skills as a writer in the way PoA did for me. As for OotP, I didn't care all that much for it either, but I'm eagerly awaiting the last book now~ *_*

Thanks for clueing me in on the icons. I'm afraid I don't know squat about music. ^^;; I like sci-fi, though, and I'm the same way about English movies and shows as I am about Spanish ones; I like the way the European ones tend to approach certain things than those made in the Americas. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the series. ^o^
