I'm away from lj for a couple of days and come back to discover that everybody's doing a movie meme. So, original as ever, I bleat and follow the herd. (Apologies if anyone's said/posted anything I should have commented on and didn't.)

Some of these are from some of my favourite films; none from later than the 90s, some considerably earlier. I'm rubbish at this game, but it was fun thinking of my favourite lines.
1) 'Look at me. Here I sit in a porno theatre in Piccadilly Circus talking to a corpse. I'm actually glad to see you, Jack.' No. 1 to gehayi - An American Werewolf in London.
2) 'Screw Max!'
'I do.'
'So do I.' Cabaret. unovis_lj got this one. Ah, Max.
3) 'You masturbate more than anyone on the planet.'
'Fuck, everyone knows that. Tell me something nobody knows.'
'When you do it, you're thinking about guys.'
'Dude, not all the time!' From Dogma. s1ncer1ty got it.
4) 'Sorry, Venkman, I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.' Ghostbusters. gehayi again!
5) 'You fight for me, you get to kill the English.'
'Excellent!' gehayi recognised Braveheart. Nice movie, shame about the history.
6) '... recruit the beasts that share our god.'
'Animals?'
'From the North!'
'You mean -- Celts! They drink the blood of their dead.'
'Yoke their strength'.
'Hired thugs... ah, brilliant'. Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, spotted by spacedye_vest.
7) 'When you cut a patient, he bleeds until the processes of nature form a clot and stop it. This is known scientifically as the bleeding time.
[spotting distracted student] You! What's the bleeding time?'
'Ten past ten, sir.' Series and actor got by blacknarcissus2 , who was 90% of the way to the title - Doctor in the House which was, I think, the film that made Dirk Bogarde's career.
8) 'Who was that man?'
'That was no man. That was the Supreme Being.'
'You mean God?'
'Well, we don't know Him that well. We only work for Him.' spacedye_vest again! The Time Bandits, one of my favourite movies.
9) 'When danger reared its ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.' Monty Python and the Holy Grail, got by not-sucky xjestx.
10) 'Sixty! We got at least 60, wouldn't you say?'
'That leaves only 3,940.'
(As the last one is a bit old and potentially tricky, here's a hint:)
'This is a Welsh regiment, although there are some foreigners in it, mind.' spacedye_vest got this one, too, even while at work (I think!). Zulu.
