I wouldn't be surprised if I get some interesting responses here, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

My husband and I are looking for a church. Any suggestions?

I consider myself agnostic, but I am open to the idea of learning more and seeing if I can find something that seems possible to me. My husband considers himself a Christian, though I'd say he leans a little agnostic as well. We are both liberal thinkers.

Our ideal church would include:
- A decent number of twenty-somethings in the congregation. I think a mix of age groups is great; I just don't want to be the only young couple in a sea of older families.
- A contemporary service -- I'd rather not have the urge to fall asleep.
- An environment that is accepting and not too pushy. I don't want anyone telling me that I'll burn in hell or making me feel guilty for not believing in something that I'm still learning about. And while the entire church doesn't have to believe this, I'd like a place that can at least be OK with the fact that I'm pro-choice and believe that gay marriage is perfectly acceptable. So yeah, probably not a Catholic church.

Maybe there isn't a church out there that has all of these things, but I'm willing to look around and try things out. We live in Henrietta, but I don't mind a little bit of a drive if it might be a good fit.

There are a ton of churches around here, but Google and RocWiki don't really give me much on what to expect. So if you have any recommendations, please let me know!
