“Ugh.”
She awoke with a minor headache. And then the previous evening and night’s events unfolded in her mind and her headache grew substantially.
She glanced around her usually pristine room to find a side table knocked over-all its contents scattered on the carpet, a black costume thrown atop the white lounge chair, and the hideous red and blue one on her boudoir. She looked over at the two half-covered, half-nude bodies on her bed and massaged her temples to sooth away the slow, but steady build up of irritation.
What had she been thinking? As if a thief wasn’t bad enough, she had also allowed a…a reporter? photographer? something to do with a newspaper that wasn’t worth remembering into her bed. She really couldn’t blame anyone else but herself and that was never any fun.
But…the more she thought of it… It hadn’t been all bad. The woman had been so playful and energetic. Not the least bit selfish and quite a pleasure actually, while he had been so limber and eager to please…
“Now’s not the time to hold back, lover,” the platinum blonde had told him as she peeled off her mask and slipped out of the rest of her suit. Whatever restraint had held him in check up until then disappeared soon after.
However, his desire to please could only accomplish so much and an unimpressed Emma was about to throw him out when he unleashed a hidden talent, a secret weapon: his mouth-such a talented mouth, too. It was the sole reason she let him stay. Hours later, she found it difficult to regret her decision.
No, Emma thought as she slid out of bed, perhaps it wasn’t a complete mistake. Not that they would ever hear that from her. Besides, she’d been nice enough to let them sleep in.
Without so much as a single glance back, she left the room sure they could find their way out.
