Oh good! I said, I get to see the Amish people again when my dispatcher told me I had to drive through Lancaster, PA over to Camden, Jersey City & Moonachie, NJ again this week. His reply, Well I'm sure they'll be glad to see you again too.. Jebadieya and Eskekial said to say Hello.. srry I just butchered your names my gentle friends of yore. I will say they keep their horses and little black carriages in superb condition. As I went by there was a team of four horses side by side with one Amish guy pulling an old timey plow behind them on foot not twenty feet from the road. Those horses had more shine and more beauty than any Porshe or Lexus or armored all tires than you have ever seen. I don't know what they feed them or rub on them or whatever but I will always remember that picture in my head. They were f-ing bright!
Speaking of pics! It was pretty rough but I managed a couple of crappy ones...the Jersey turnpike is in such terrible condition my dentist will have his hands full with my jarred loosened cuspids.
That's NYC from the Joisey Pike
From the 'GW' bridge [George Washington]
Once you get over the bridge..no time for pics, it's all shifting and brakes stop & go..they shoot birds and honk horns if you slow down..
