Thanks to the success of the Big Sur Writing Workshop and of the Big Sur International Short Film Screening Series we can now tap the expertise of our ever-growing network of filmmakers, producers, writers and screenwriters and offer a tried and true (15 years!) workshop model built on intensive one-on-one and small-group instruction.
The result: what could very well be one of the world's best screenwriting workshop.
The April 12-14 workshop will offer participants:
* A world-class faculty that includes Tom Abrams, the Emmy-winning writer of “Rugrats;” Michael Polish, independent American filmmaker (director of "Big Sur" just selected for premiere at Sundance), and screenwriter Deborah Baron, (“Major Dad” and "Cagney and Lacy”), Michael Taylor, the Chair of Film and Television Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and many more! * A presentation by Oscar-winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond (“Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”)
